Stream Side Nature Walk

Discover how healthy forests make healthy streams on a guided hike for the whole family.

Join Kevin Magerr (US EPA) and Walt Cressler (West Chester University) for a hands-on streamside nature walk through Ridley Creek State Park to discover how healthy forests make healthy streams. Hear the story of the landscape and learn how to read the woods. Explore the biology and chemistry of the creek and meet some of its most important inhabitants. It may be muddy, so wear boots! Coffee, juice and pastries will be served.
