Designated Uses

The designated uses of Ridley Creek are:

• High Quality-Trout Stocking Fishery (HQ-TSF) from its source to the Media Water Intake near the Route 1 bypass.

• Trout Stocking Fishery (TSF) from the Media Water Intake to Route 113 Bridge

• Warm Water Fisheries from Route 113  Bridge to the creek’s confluence with the Delaware River (excluding tidal portion)

   A large portion of the Ridley Creek drainage basin is High Quality, and therefore afforded Special Protection under the Clean Water Act. 

What are designated uses?
