This biological, chemical, and physical asssessment of the health of Crum Creek in four reaches in Newtown and Marple Townships was done by Marple Newtown High School 9th graders in May of 2007 as part of an Environmental Literacy partnership with the Forest Service, Northern Research Station. The snapshot program was designed, coordinated and staffed by MNHS teachers Bob Sidlowe, Robert Speca and Liz Marino under the leadership of CRC's Jane Fava with the help of volunteer monitoring professionals from CRC and BVA.
