This brochure provides background for our upcoming lecture on February 7, 2010, "Natural Landscaping of Stormwater Basins", at Penn State Brandywine. This event includes a discussion of common problems related to the design and maintenance of stormwater management practices, including swales and dry and wet basins, will be provided. The presentation will provide examples of stormwater management techniques that successfully integrated natural design elements and native plants to control stormwater, and will reference requirements of Pennsylvania’s new stormwater regulations as well as principles championed by renowned author Professor Doug Tallamy.
