A record number of volunteers, 506, pitched in at the 11th Annual CRC Streams Cleanup on Saturday, May 3rd. 20.1 tons of trash were removed from streamside areas at 43 different site from sites as varied as along Chester Creek in Chester City and in Upland, to Ridley Creek at Ashbridge Preserve in East Goshen. Among the debris removed were 139 tires that were pulled from the three creeks and recycled! CRC would like to thank the sponsors of this cleanup, which enabled this massive effort.
