Protecting, conserving, and restoring the natural resources of the
Chester, Ridley, and Crum Creek Watersheds.
January 2019 – CRC was awarded a grant through the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2). The grant is for $150,000 over three years; half of that amount is in the form of the grant from the state, and half the amount will be provided by matching funds. The matching funding will be provided by CRC sponsors, partners, and donors through 2021.
February 2019 – Apple Leisure Group has announced it will work with the Chester Ridley Crum Watersheds Association (CRC) in what is expected to be a multi-year partnership to create CRC-led tree planting day and streams cleanup for Apple Leisure Group employee volunteers. The $10,000 sponsorship demonstrates Apple Leisure Group’s commitment to the environment, and supports CRC’s mission to support, encourage and promote the enjoyment, restoration, conservation, protection and prudent management of the natural resources of the Chester, Ridley and Crum Creek.
