Rising temperatures decrease the ability of the water to dissolve oxygen. The maximum summer water temperature in a Cold Water Fishery stream ( CWF) should not exceed 68 degrees at any time of the year. Standards for Trout Stocking waters ( TSF) require that the maximum temperature remain below 68 degrees through July 31st.
