In 2004, the Chester Creek Watershed Partnership was formed for major stakeholders to collaboratively work on issues affecting Chester Creek municipalities and stakeholders. For an updated list of members and activities, click here.
CRC Programs
CRC programs in the Chester Creek Watershed include:
An annual Earth Day Stream Cleanup of Goose Creek and the Upper East Branch
Annual cleanup of the Lower Watershed in May
Extensive water quality monitoring and collaboration with other institutions and agencies such as universities and the DEP
Ongoing partnership efforts with the East Goshen and Thornbury EAC’s in maintaining and improving their stream restoration projects
Regular colloboration with East and West High Schools, West Chester University, and Westtown School on water related service projects
